Crack RAR Password : How To Crack RAR File Passwords

Today, I’m gonna share to you some cool and easy way to break your Winrar Password. You can use this method in case you forget your Winrar Password or kind like that.

In this article I'll be showing you how to crack RAR Passwords using bruteforce.


What's Brute Force?

Brute force attack is a strategy used to break the encryption of data. It involves traversing the search space of possible keys until the correct key is found. (Wikipédia)

In this attack, every letter, number and special character combination is tried out for password. And password is returned if it matches with actual winrar password. This is somewhat slow but cracks every password, provided sufficient time.

What will you need?

Advanced Archive Password Recovery 4.53

      I had this same problem. You .zip file is corrupt, so to fix it, you need to download "ZIP Repair"

    What do you mean by register with everyone key?

    The Serial number doesn't work, copying the files doesn't work either, so this program only works as a trial version.

    I tried opening a password protected file. After I clicked "open" upon choosing the file, the program gt stuck and is "not responding", so I have to close it off. Tried again and the same problem. Now I don't know if its the file or the program that has the problem...

    key is valid
    it is out of date for updates
    when you get option screen click the bottom one of the 3 buttons and hey presto it works fine. it is just the update facility that is out of date
    password is as stated at the top vparif
    and the seriel ARPR-83296730531875-CBBVYBXFEXDEVPMB
    there is another seriel ARCHPRP-LEHKE-58253-RHCZW-73269 but i have not tried this one.

      That many p/s is because a .zip file is being decripted.
      Other compression methods, like .rar are a bit harder to decompress (up to onnly 200 p/s)

      It would appear that your compression method is quiet sophisticated, which means you have an extremely low p/s

    ARCHPRP-LEHKE-58253-RHCZW-73269 do not copy paste, simply write it, it will work, but the speed of the program at i7 8GB pc are still 195 p/s, i give all permission and not running anything else, still slow. If someone know a solution (i do not want you have wooden pc and etc), please write, how can be set faster.

    I have a rar file that's split into multiple rars, part01, part02, etc. When I select the first rar file, it says it's corrupt. Does this program not work for rar files that are split??

    Has anyone come up with a solution of the speed problem? As i can see most users suffer from speeds not exceeding 300p/s on machines with Core2Duo or i7. That problem remains with other programs trying to do this on CPU. Using GPU speeds it up only one notch, to about 2500 p/s so still years to crack a long password using brute force. People getting 10M p/s PLEASE share your wisdom.

      bro ive also tried it .... when i try to find password of a different zip file the p/s is 200 tops but when i try to crack this file MENTIONED ABOVE FOr DOWNLOAD the speed changes to millions of p/s .... so the app is pretty lame

    Great, it worked!
    Other tools I tried failed to even detect a password in my file. I tried brute force first, that was going to take longer than my lifetime to try for the number of digits I was afraid the password was. Then I tried dictionary attack a couple times starting with the number of digits I gave up on with brute force. Smart mutations enabled. It came back with a couple fucked up passwords that were gibberish. I think they started with r. Then I tried all possible upper/lower combinations and it came up with rElApSepRoOf. That seemed like my password but it wasn't. (My file was porn that I locked up on myself.) I tried something, either all upper/lower or brute force, but I adjusted the starting line until it started around re or ra and it came back in a couple hours with just relapse, which was my password. It might have come up with rElApSepRoOf on smart mutations, then I set it to all possible upper/lower when it finally worked.
    Took some fiddling but I got it within 2 weeks. I was getting around 320p/s using brute force, but I noticed that it often had a number that was considerably lower than the real speed if you watched the number of tried passwords growing. You can even set it to refresh every 1000 milliseconds.

    Thanks i put a rar file to crack its password, it says have to wait 3hrs or so but hey its still better than doing those annoying servers for hrs and ending up wih no luck indeed :P im gonna take a nap as this rar is cracked thanx again for this usefull tool :D
